Just picked up a PFM 12" (Can't remember the title, but it's on Good Looking Records) and was very dissapointed. Previously all I had heard from them was their remix on Scorn's "Ellipses" (The "Nightmare Mix")- and I've always been curious to hear more. These new tracks were very, well, "lite" I guess would be a good way to describe them. Does anyone know if there are any other singles / full-lengths out from them with a harder sound (like the Scorn track?) Also: How limited was Vadim's USSR Recon. on vinyl? Is it already out of print? None of the local record shops seem able to get it for me. Ahh yes... it was PCM I was looking for, but PFM ("The Mystics", yes) that I got. I knew something felt a bit off with the name. And to make things more confusing, there's a group with the name PFR out there. Got one of their albums by mistake once, too. They were exceptionally bad- Christian rock meets REM.
